United Way

IMS Focused on Community Service

October 19, 2006 - (Birmingham, AL) - IMS has become recognized in the medical industry as focusing on service. This year IMS is also focusing on community service. The decision to support the United Way was an easy one, especially since many of the program partners assist in providing medical assistance and guidance to create a healthy community. IMS campaign leaders visited Hope Lodge, Pathways and the Fellowship House and were asked to share their impressions of these wonderful programs to the IMS employees. This, coupled with hearing the heartfelt presentations by John Stone of Children's Hospital and our Loaned Executive, Diane Polito, helped the IMS employees to understand how our support could change lives. We are exited to report that this year's campaign has been the best ever... increasing our pledge by 157% over last year's campaign and exceeding our goal. None of this could have been accomplished without the dedication and support of our IMS family members.
